Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way, but the data stays in the browser and is not sent to the server with every request. The site ultimsport.ru uses both sparingly: to remember your preferences and, with your consent, to count visits.
If you choose “Accept” in the notice, the site loads the Yandex.Metrika counter (number 113478850). The counter sets its own cookies:
These cookies appear only after your consent. Webvisor, click map, scroll map and form analytics are disabled in the counter, so no session recording is made and no _ym_visorc cookie is created. The exact list may change together with the counter itself — the actual names are always visible in the Storage section of your browser developer tools.
On your first visit the site shows a notice with the buttons “Accept” and “Necessary only”. If you choose “Necessary only”, the counter is not loaded and not a single request to mc.yandex.ru is made; the necessary entries above keep working.
The “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page opens the notice again. When analytics is declined, the site also deletes the counter cookies already set. You can clear local storage entirely in your browser settings — that resets your theme and consent choices.
Analytics data is processed by YANDEX LLC (the Yandex.Metrika service) acting on the operator’s instructions; processing takes place on servers in the Russian Federation. Cookie data is never sold or shared with anyone else. See the Privacy Policy for details.
If the set of entries or counters changes, the consent version increases and the notice asks for your choice again. The current revision of this document is always available at /cookie-policy_en.html.
